Thomas "Tom" Lynn Richmond, 68, passed away at the Hospice of North Idaho Hospice House in Coeur d'Alene on Nov. 13, 2014.
Tom was born in Walla Walla, Wash. on Sept. 22, 1946, to Lynn and Sidney Richmond. He grew up in Milton-Freewater, Wash. and Vancouver, Wash., graduating from Evergreen High School in Vancouver in 1964.
Following graduation, Tom attended Washington State University and earned a degree in business administration. After college Tom enlisted in the U.S. Army and eventually went to Vietnam. After he was honorably discharged, Tom started work at 1st Security Bank in 1971. He graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School and retired from Wells Fargo in 2003.
Tom served on the W.S.U. Alumni Board as Director, and on the Client Security Fund Committee for the Idaho State Bar.
Tom's greatest joy was finding the love of his life, wife Cheryl, and raising four wonderful boys. He also enjoyed Ham Radio, and watching his boys play sports.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest son, Brian Richmond.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl (Stewart) Richmond; sons Brad Richmond (Brooke), Brent Richmond (Jessica), and Sean Morgan (Kelly); grandchildren Ashton Richmond, Braeson Richmond, Brynna Richmond, Kaya Richmond, Ahmi Richmond, and Henry Morgan; his uncle Clyde Richmond; cousin Donnie Vee Espinosa (Steve), and their children Erin Foster and Michael Espinoza; and cousin Brian Richmond (Suzanne), and their children Lucas and Alisa.
