PAS vets winner to ensure perfect fit

The Panhandle Animal Shelter is dedicated to the care and wellbeing of every dog and cat entering our facility. We would never put an animal in harm’s way. We appreciate Chris McIntosh’s concerns regarding Holly Eve and the auctioning of Evie, the black lab puppy.

To ease her distress, here is a description of how the process will work. The “winner,” which is the best way to describe the family who brings home this sweet, wonderful little girl, will not be allowed to bring her home that night.
