Jeanne was born in Spokane, Wash., to Flavian and Tannis Croteau on Sept. 19, 1933. She was one of five children. Jeanne graduated from Holy Names Academy in 1951.

She married Joel Bowlby in 1954 and lived in Lahnstuhl, Germany, where her eldest, Joel, was born. Her sons John, James and daughter Mary were all born in Spokane.

In 1967 Jeanne married Robert Wayne Wasson. Her youngest child, Robert Jr., was born in Tacoma, Wash. Jeanne, Bob and family moved to Post Falls, Idaho, in 1974 and built their custom home where they resided together until 1985 when Bob preceded her to the Kingdom of God. She continued to reside there until her passing.

Jeanne married Theodore Wright in 1985 and the family grew to include daughters Sandra Hels and Terry Mirra.

She is survived by brothers Donald and John Croteau; sons Joel, John, James, and Robert (Jr.) Wasson, and daughter Mary Smith; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces, and all those she brought into her fold who are too numerous to mention.

Jeanne loved us all unconditionally. You know who you are because she touched our lives in her own special way. We will all miss her so.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, and 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, at the English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls. A Funeral Mass and Celebration of her life will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, at St. George's Catholic Church, 2004 N. Lucas in Post Falls, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
