Raptors in rafters

Almost 600 students from Cherry Valley and Linderman elementary schools recently enjoyed a presentation about hunting birds known as raptors at the Linderman auditorium. Katie Davis, far left, shows off an owl to students and educators rapt in awe. Davis, from Stevensville area, founded Raptors of the Rockies in 1988 and tours schools teaching students about the magnificent birds of prey. The Parent and Teacher Organization paid for the presentation.
