Memaloose Island changes hands

HOPE — Memaloose Island is no longer on the market.

The 13-acre island in Lake Pend Oreille sold on Friday, according to Tom Puckett, a Realtor at Century 21 RiverStone, the agency which held the listing.

The island’s new owner or owners are not being identified.

The island, located off the Hope peninsula, was being listed for sale for $5 million.
