Absentee voting begins Monday, Oct. 6 in Flathead County for the Nov. 4 general election.

Oct. 6 also is the deadline for a resident to register to vote if they want an absentee ballot mailed to them, Flathead County Election Services Manager Monica Eisenzimer said.

The Election Department will begin mailing absentee ballots on Oct. 6 and will continue until Oct. 31.

The application for an absentee ballot is available on the county website, http://flathead.mt.gov/election, along with the “MY VOTER PAGE” where residents can check to see if they are registered to vote.
