Culinary Arts Institute student Jon Hartig, executive sous chef, adds a touch of honey to a a butternut squash soup shooter with creme fraiche, walnut oil and a brioche crouton on Friday, September 26 at the opening night of Flathead Valley Community College's Festival of Flavors. The nine day festival wraps up on Saturday, October 4, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn with a Grand Wine Tasting event. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased by calling 756-3632 or are available at the door.
