Football: Glacier stomps Big Sky

MISSOULA — Brady McChesney opened the scoring with a 25-yard run in the opening quarter and passed for three touchdowns after that to guide top-ranked Glacier to a 49-13 Class AA football victory over Missoula Big Sky on Friday night.
McChesney hit Devin Cochran on a 17-yard scoring strike, Sam McCamley on a 15-yard TD pass and Logan Jones on a 35-yard touchdown reception.
Jones also returned a punt 62 yards for a touchdown in Glacier’s 28-point second quarter.
Glacier (6-0) led 42-0 at the half.
McChesney was 18 of 25 passing for 222 yards. Jones hauled in seven receptions for 88 yards.
Thomas Trefney rushed for 85 yards on 13 carries for the Wolfpack.
No. 5 Big Sky (3-3) scored twice in the final half.
