Weissman tabbed to lead senior center

SANDPOINT — Of all the skills you’d expect from the administrator of an iconic community organization, juggling probably isn’t one of them.

Sure enough, however, it’s just one of the quirks Ellen Weissman, an experienced educator and administrator, brings to her new job as the director of Sandpoint Area Seniors, Inc. The trait is a good indicator of the sense of fun and excitement Weissman brings to the job right alongside the solid fundamentals needed to run the organization on a day-to-day basis.

“I love it here,” she said. “I’ve been using all my skills from teaching and administration and it’s a great fit.”
