MOSES LAKE - Grant County deputies arrested a Moses Lake man in connection to at least two burglaries in the Moses Lake area.

Jarred Brockman, 18, of Moses Lake, is suspected to have taken part in recent Moses Lake burglaries.

On Sept. 27, thieves stole firearms and other valuable items during a burglary on County Road A Northeast, east of Moses Lake.

On Wednesday, a deputy discovered a stolen go-cart on state game land, about three miles southeast of Interstate 90 and Hiawatha Road.

The go-cart was believed stolen during a nearby theft. Deputies guarded the scene Wednesday night and called more deputies and state Fish and Wildlife officers to search the land on Thursday.

On Thursday, officers recovered two stolen ATVs stuck in some mud flats, and 18 firearms, which were suspected stolen during the Sept. 27 burglary.

After searching, deputies found a 1984 Oldsmobile, which was a match to a description of a car seen near other burglaries.

Brockman, along with evidence from recent burglaries, was found in the vehicle. He is now at the Grant County Jail.

The evidence recovered is tied to other reported burglaries in Moses Lake, according to information provided by the Grant County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies arrested Brockman and recommend he face multiple charges of first-degree burglary, multiple counts of theft of a firearm and multiple counts of third-degree possession of stolen property.

The Oldsmobile was seized as evidence.

The investigation is ongoing.
