Bulldogs shutout Polson

Whitefish beat Polson 28-0 on Friday in a Northwestern A football match-up.

Bulldog Luke May passed for two touchdowns and ran for another.

May hit Jack Streibich and Jed Nagler on short TD passes of 8 and 4 yards in the opening half. His touchdown run covered 68 yards in the fourth quarter.

Tyler Cote also scored on a 3-yard run for Whitefish.

May was 13 of 19 passing for 154 yards and was intercepted once.

Nagler had five receptions for 113 yards and Chris Park led the ground attack with 102 yards on 12 carries.

Whitefish (4-2, 2-0 league) rolled up 258 yards rushing on 35 attempts.

Polson (1-5, 0-2) finished with 129 yards rushing on 36 tries and was 6 of 15 passing for 43 yards.

Whitefish hosts Livingston on Friday. Park High is 1-5 overall and 1-1 in league play.
