NOXON – The Lady Red Devils got another win last weekend, as the team triumphed over the St. Regis Lady Tigers to improve their record to 7-1.

The District 10-C matchup was not an easy win for Noxon as the Lady Red Devils were forced to go all five sets before securing their hard fought victory.

The team is now 5-1 in league play within District 10-C.

However, after St. Regis forced the opening set into extra time the Lady Tigers rallied to win the third and fourth sets of the night by scores of 25-19 and 25-20.

After the St. Regis rally, Noxon was faced with a critical fifth set to keep their recent winning streak alive.

The Lady Red Devils proved up to the task and down St. Regis in the fifth and final frame by a score of 15-6 to take the set and the match.

McKenna Krueger contributed quite a performance to the Lady Red Devil cause tallying 28 kills and five blocks on the night to ensure the road win for Noxon.
