Bernice Lenore Prosser, 91

Bernice Lenore Prosser, 91, entered into eternal peace on Oct. 7, 2014, at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation in Kellogg, Idaho.

Bernice, also known as Connie, was born on July 18, 1923, to Earl and Louise Conway of West Carthage, N.Y. Following graduation from high school, Connie joined the United States Marine Corps and was discharged on Nov. 20, 1945. She married Francis "Frank" W. Decker, whom she met during their time in the Marines, and they had three sons.

Connie was licensed as a Realtor, an avid golfer, and enjoyed oil painting and tending to her flowers.

Connie was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Decker and Jack Prosser; son Stephen Decker; and granddaughter Amy Decker.

Connie is survived by her sons, Robert W. Decker, Michael E. Decker (Mary) of Prichard, Idaho; step-son Ronald Prosser (Diane) of Spokane, Wash.; daughter-in-law Kristy (Decker) Trask of Moses Lake, Wash.; grandchildren Stephanie Gesualdi (Nick), Rob Decker (Chantel), Anna Decker, Marlena Decker, Erick Prosser, and Michelle Prosser; as well as several great-grandchildren.

At Connie's request, cremation will follow. A memorial service is planned for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d'Alene Chapel, 744 N. Fourth St.

Yates Funeral Homes and Crematory of Coeur d'Alene has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
