Eunice Elizabeth (Cook) Hudson, 93, passed away in Post Falls, Idaho, on Sept. 29, 2014.

Eunice was born on Jan. 16, 1921, in Harden, Mont. She married Herbert on April 4, 1939. Eunice worked a few jobs, but her most important job was raising her children.

Eunice enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband in the North Idaho area. She also enjoyed sewing, reading and gardening.

Eunice was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Herbert W. Hudson; her granddaughter, Kori Mulligan; her parents, Edna Mae (Seek) and Edison Cook; siblings: Ralph Cook, Robert Cook, Edison Cook Jr., Mary Findlay and Alfreda Seymone.

Eunice is lovingly remembered by children Thelma Larsen of Colorado Springs, Colo., Robert W. Hudson of Landenberg, Pa., James Hudson of Post Falls, Celia Peterson of Hayden and Suzanne Durbin of Clark Fork, Idaho; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and her sister, Dorothy Delong of Helena, Mont.

Eunice will be laid to rest beside her husband at Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls.
