Health District to close Ephrata office

EPHRATA—Grant County Health District officials have announced they will be permanently closing the Ephrata office at the end of this month.

The district will be moving all its Ephrata staff and services to its Moses Lake location, 1038 West Ivy, effective noon on Oct. 30, according to a statement sent out Friday.

The final food handler card classes offered at the Ephrata office will take place at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. (Spanish), 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Oct. 14. 

The district’s Moses Lake office is open from 8 to 5 p.m., with the exception of the noon lunch hour, Monday through Thursday. People with questions can call 509-766-7960 or visit www.granthealth.org.
