The Kalispell Police Department received a call from a young man very confused with his identity reporting a tree was on fire “blazing” in Woodland Park. He stated his name was Vincent, then changed it to Mikey, then changed it again to Freddie. Firefighters couldn’t find the tree and neighbors hadn’t seen or smelled anything.

A woman came into the police station to report her husband had kicked her while she was holding their baby. He told a very different story. As no physical injuries were apparent, the two were told to contact their attorneys.

A man was dropped off at a facility on Crestline Avenue. He was shoeless and mumbling to himself. He said someone was going to pick him up.

A couple breaking up on Meridian Road took their problems to the police when the female party was advised to take only her belongings and instead took the male’s houseplants. She also took some of his medication, but that ficus really tied his living room together.

An elderly man in a nursing home was being inappropriate, grabbing women without their consent. Officers came and told him to go to his room.

A man on Four Mile Drive was having “a psychotic episode,” claiming his son murdered someone last night and was going to murder him tonight. He was suffering from Alzheimers and didn’t recognize people trying to help him.

The Whitefish Police Department took a call from a man who believed his ex-girlfriend was possibly suicidal. Officers talked to the woman, who said she was sad and going through “bad emotions,” but was not suicidal.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Wisconsin Avenue at 12:41 a.m.
