PLAINS – The Plains Horsemen made the road trip to Bigfork last weekend playing the Vikings last Friday night.

Coming off a competitive game with Thompson Falls in an inter-county rivalry matchup last week the Horsemen continued their two week road trip.

The undermanned Plains team was unable to answer Bigfork’s offensive attack falling 49-0 in the contest under the lights.

With the win Bigfork improved to 5-1 on the year.

Next week the Horsemen will return home for a game against the Deer Lodge Wardens.

The game will be played under the lights in Plains on Friday, Oct. 17 with the game’s opening kickoff slated for 7 p.m.

The matchup with Deer Lodge will mark the penultimate game of the season for the Horsemen, who will wind down the year with a game against the Eureka Lions.

The Eureka game, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 24, will be senior night for the Plains Horsemen.
