Holy Family 'Hawktoberfest' is Oct. 24

Holy Family Catholic School will host its fifth annual Hawktoberfest, a family fun night and fundraiser from 5:30-8:30 p.m., Oct. 24.

The all-ages event will offer carnival games, prizes, a bounce house and dinner at the school, at the intersection of Kathleen Avenue and Atlas Road, Coeur d'Alene.

The price of admission is a non-perishable food item; Holy Family will donate the items to the St. Pius X Church and Coeur d'Alene food banks. Game tickets are four for $1 and meal tickets are $4 each, sold at the door. Dinner includes a slice of pizza, chips, carrots and a drink.

The event serves as a collection for the local food banks, but also as a fundraiser for the school and a celebration of the new academic year.
