Wildlife officials are seeking information on a recent string of deer poaching cases in the Flathead Valley.
Numerous deer have been illegally killed and left to rot along the entire length of Farm to Market Road, and west of Kalispell toward Kila, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks game wardens report.
Wardens say most of the activity is occurring at night, presumably with the aid of a spotlight.
According to warden captain Lee Anderson, while there had been some reprieve from this illegal activity following the recent prosecution of several individuals in the area, wardens are concerned that this type of activity is occurring again.
Anyone with information on the recent poaching cases is urged to call 1-800-TIPMONT. Callers can remain anonymous and anyone with information leading to a conviction may be eligible for a reward.
