Have you ever considered that your musculoskeletal system needs a check-up? Just like your teeth get their yearly cleaning, your musculoskeletal system's health may need a little TLC as well. When we don't maintain our body's health it is easy to loose muscle and gain fat. Like the old saying goes, if you don't use it, you loose it!
More movement is key to a healthy body. Mimicking movements that you would do in real life is how our physical therapists at Pinnacle will get you back into shape. As a whole, human beings do not move as much as they used to; incorporating fun exercises into your daily routine will help encourage you to get up and get moving.
Try some of these exercises at home to keep your body active and healthy:
* Walking outdoors
* Playing with your pet
* Snowshoeing
* Swimming
