Michael Steven Oles, 43, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 18, 2014, after suffering a major heart attack. He was born April 30, 1971, in Spokane, Wash.

Mike enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid hunter and loved fishing. He was an inspector for the railroad and traveled extensively.

Mike was a beacon of light for the Lord and was always working toward the salvation of everyone he knew.

He is survived by his parents, Merton and Judy Oles; brother Mark Oles and his two nephews, Hunter and Gage Oles. The boys were the light of his life. They referred to him as Uncle Mik. He nicknamed them Bub and Bump. They truly adored their uncle. Mike also had uncles, aunts and several cousins in many states.

The viewing will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at Bell Tower Funeral Home, 3398 E. Jenalan Ave., Post Falls, Idaho. A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at Real Life Ministries, 1866 N. Cecil Road, Post Falls. There will be a potluck meal following the service. Please bring your favorite dish to share with all of Mike's loving friends and family.
