SANDPOINT — A transient implicated in a home-invasion attack was charged Thursday with repeatedly violating a court’s no contact order in an unrelated domestic violence case.
Randy Carl Eiland’s bail on the new misdemeanor charges was set at $15,000 during his initial appearance in Bonner County Magistrate Court. Judge Debra Heise entered not guilty pleas on his behalf.
Eiland, 50, is accused of sending the alleged victim in a Spokane, Wash., domestic violence case 10 text messages and making five calls to her phone in the last few days, resulting in 15 counts of violating a protective order.
