SANDPOINT — Kyle Perry scored on a 78-yard touchdown run on Sandpoint’s first drive, and the rout was on, as the Bulldogs hammered Lethbridge 69-7 in the regular season finale on Friday night at Barlow Stadium.

In an equally important game, Lakeland beat Moscow, which means the Bulldogs (5-4) will host Century next weekend in a first-round playoff game. The game will either be played on Friday night or Saturday afternoon, which will be determined on Monday.

The Rams (7-1) had some talented skill position players, but couldn’t match the Bulldogs’ physicality at the point of attack. Their big and bruising tailback scored in the first quarter, but suffered a concussion and sat for the rest of the game, and their offense never recovered.
