MOSES LAKE - It was a happy Senior Night for the Moses Lake girls swim team as the Chiefs edged West Valley (Yakima) 103-83 in their final dual meet of the season.

Moses Lake finished 10-2 on the season, with the only losses coming to No. 1 ranked Wenatchee.

Although most races were close, it was Moses Lake's night in the lanes said head coach Tony St. Onge.

The Chiefs took all three relays: the 200 medley, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle.

Senior Jordan Richeson scored a win in the 100 backstroke. Other individual winners included Megan Washburn in the 200 individual medley and Heather Carbon in diving.

Freshmen Anna Fair and Shyanne Speed won two events each. Fair took first place in the 100 fly and 500 freestyle, while Speed placed first in the 50 and 100 freestyle.

The group of seniors honored included Richeson, Jalen Garza, Bailey Hammond, Bailey Lake, Catriona Linville, Dede Moreno and Celeste Partida.

Moses Lake will compete in an 11 dive meet today at Central Washington University before preparing for districts, which begin on Oct. 31.
