POST FALLS - Two male suspects allegedly displayed a pistol and baseball bat at a male victim during an alleged strong-armed robbery case reported in Post Falls on Tuesday afternoon.
The 26-year-old male victim from Post Falls was not injured. The male suspects, approximately 30 years old, remained at large on Tuesday night.
The victim told police that he met the suspects around 3 p.m. in the area of Third and Greensferry.
"(The suspects) jumped out of their car and pushed him against a vehicle," Post Falls Police Sgt. Gary James said.
James said the victim told police that the suspects stole property from him, so he followed them in his vehicle.
When the suspects saw that the victim was following them, they pulled over and allegedly damaged the victim's vehicle with a baseball bat.
James said the victim told police that one of the suspects displayed a pistol and held it against his back, but the gun was not pointed at him. The other suspect displayed a baseball bat.
"The victim said he was told not to follow them or they'd hurt him," James said.
James did not immediately have a description of the suspects. They were reportedly in a black Ford Explorer.
An investigation continues.
