STONES: Careful where you aim

Mr. Hedman, people like you are the reason I wrote my last letter. What gives you the right to judge me by making inferences that I do not believe in the Bible? Then you compare homosexuals to thieves. Come on, the eighth commandment. Talk about apples and oranges.

The point I was trying to make was there is nothing in the New Testament about JESUS saying anything about homosexuals. This term “unnatural acts.” I can think of a lot of unnatural acts done between legally married heterosexuals. “Unnatural acts” are acts against nature. The worst crime against nature is humans causing global warming and climate change. This is the world we are leaving for our future generations.

So Mr. Expert (Hedman), show me one QUOTE in the Bible from JESUS that he said about homosexuals. I can give you one that he did say. John 8:7, Jesus said, “He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.” So clean up your own house first, before you condemn others.

I agree with Jerry Bauer. I believe the Bible is a good thing to guide you on how to live, but it does not give you fanatics the right to condemn or judge other human beings in public.

Regarding Reverend Dave Walker’s My Turn article in Saturday’s (10/25/14) Coeur d’Alene Press; it was an excellent article and I could not agree more.
