Local schools, teachers join global project

SANDPOINT — What do Lake Pend Oreille School District teachers have in common with educators in Finland?
Well, they likely share a passion for educating their community’s youth, for one thing. But they’re also both team members in a global initiative to share effective educational practices with one another. Eleven LPOSD schools join more than 1,000 other schools worldwide for the Global Partnership Project, organized in Idaho by the Idaho Leads initiative.
