SANDPOINT — As a newcomer to town, new Panida Theater director Patricia Walker White was curious about the nature of her new community.

She found her answer a few days later when, looking from her office on the theater’s second floor, she saw people of all ages milling about Cedar Street. Kids, young adults, middle-aged adults and older individuals all turned out to enjoy downtown Sandpoint and each other’s company. That’s when White knew she’d come to the right place.

“It really is a beautiful town,” she said. “Sandpoint is doing a lot of things that are right on the money.”
