Billings police seek suspect in fatal stabbing

BILLINGS — Police in Billings are searching for a 22-year-old woman suspected of stabbing another woman to death at a bar on the south side of the city.

The stabbing at Lee’s Saloon was reported at about 12:30 a.m. Friday.

The 29-year-old victim was stabbed several times and pronounced dead at a Billings hospital. Her name hasn’t been released.

Police say they are searching for Jamie Jo Brokenrope. She is a Native American, about 5 feet tall and 105 pounds with brown hair and eyes.
