Four youths have admitted guilt to felony criminal mischief charges after shooting out windows of more than 100 vehicles around Kalispell a year ago.

Matthew Winchester of Kalispell and Maclean Ryder, 17, of Kila admitted their guilt on Thursday in Flathead District Court. 

Winchester, who was 14 at the time of the Sept. 15, 2013, shooting spree, was declared to be a delinquent youth and a serious juvenile offender. He will appear for a disposition hearing Sept. 26. 

Ryder was also declared to be a delinquent youth and a serious juvenile offender and will appear for a disposition hearing Nov. 7. 

Francisco Manzo, 17, of Flathead County pleaded guilty Aug. 29 as part of a plea agreement. 

Manzo has been placed on probation until his 21st birthday and will have to pay restitution of no more than $7,500, with restitution from the three other boys taken into consideration. He has also been ordered to read all victim impact statements and submit a letter to the court about his impressions of those statements. 

The driver of the vehicle used in the spree, Shadeau Fritz, 17, of Kalispell was found guilty by the court Aug. 15 and declared to be a delinquent youth and a serious juvenile offender. Fritz is scheduled for a disposition hearing Sept. 18. 

Court documents state that Manzo drove the other three teens around Kalispell and Evergreen while they took turn shooting out car windows with a carbon-dioxide-powered BB gun on Sept. 15, 2013. 

The crime spree was spread out across the city, with Third Avenue East, Third Street West, First Avenue East North and Fourth Street West among the locations where multiple vehicle windows were shot out.

Outside Kalispell city limits, there were six vehicles with similar damage on Conrad Drive.

More than one window was shot in vehicles in some cases, and some business windows also were targeted.
