Coroner rules Ephrata woman's death a homicide

EPHRATA - The stabbing death of an Ephrata woman on Monday was ruled a homicide by the Grant County coroner.

Lucille Moore, 82, of Ephrata, was found dead on Monday morning at her Sunset Street home in Ephrata.

Moore was stabbed to death, according to a prepared statement from the coroner's office.

The Columbia Basin Investigative Team will be assisting the Ephrata Police Department with the investigation.

More information will not be released until after the investigation is completed by CBIT and Ephrata Police Department.
