Officials: Cities seeing growth

PONDERAY — Between planning new parks, street projects and water systems, the officials of Ponderay, Dover and Sandpoint have stayed busy this year.

Mayors and council members from each township turned out at the Ponderay Events Center Thursday for the annual Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce State of the Cities event. Ponderay Mayor Carol  Kunzeman, Dover councilman Bill Strand and Sandpoint Mayor Carrie Logan each shared the year’s big events, which range from upcoming parks, street projects and the collaborative Selkirks-Pend Oreille Transit bus system.

Sandpoint OKs downtown street changes
