MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake School District patrons will be asked their opinions on a possible construction bond during the next few weeks. A survey listing the options will be available on the district's website this weekend. All district patrons will receive a copy in the mail.

A copy also will be published in the Columbia Basin Herald.

The survey will ask respondents their opinions on various options for a bond. The options range from doing nothing and going to year-round school, to expanding the existing high school, to building a new high school. There are also options to build up to three new elementary schools.

The survey doesn't include cost estimates of any of the options.

The questions were hashed out at a lively meeting of the committee tasked with recommending whether or not to offer a construction bond proposal to the community.

More information on the meeting will be available in the Thursday edition of the Columbia Basin Herald.
