Whitefish sweeps at Libby golf tourney

Whitefish nearly swept all the honors at the Libby Invitational golf tournament on Friday at Cabinet View Golf Club.
Whitefish easily won the boys and girls team titles, and had the girls medalist in Coral Schulz, who shot a 78 to finish eight shots better than teammate, and runner-up, Katie Fyall.
Cole Turgeon placed second overall for the Whitefish boys with a round of 80. Joey Walp came in with an 88, while Mitch Young and Cody Olson posted 90.
Libby’s Jonny Cielak was the boys medalist with his round of 77.

Rehberg to attend rally for Jesus statue
