SANDPOINT — A Bonner County man amassed four felony offenses after allegedly attacking a woman and threatening her with a pistol and a shotgun.
Christopher Robert Carson is charged with attempted strangulation, domestic battery resulting in traumatic injury and two counts of aggravated assault.
Carson, 32, is accused of attacking the woman on Friday. Deputies were summoned to a home in the Wrenco area after receiving a 911 hang-up.
Deputies, a probable cause affidavit said, arrived to the sounds of repeated gunfire and Carson yelling. Deputies encountered Carson as he was being driven down the driveway in a sport utility vehicle.
