Two boys arrested for burglary in George

GEORGE — Two 17-year-old boys, one from George and one from Quincy, were arrested for burglary and theft on Wednesday.

It started when Grant County deputies were called to 123 E. Montmorency Blvd. in George, on reports of a burglary, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

The burglary reportedly happened sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The deputies at the scene learned of two possible suspects.

Later in the day, deputies found the two suspects a short distance away in George.
