Cassidy Pierce scored in the 77th minute off an assist by Ellen Bonner to give visiting Missoula Big Sky a 2-2 Western AA tie with Glacier in girls soccer play Saturday.
Pierce also scored at 21 minutes to tie the match at 1-all.
Ellie Stevens gave Glacier a 1-0 lead with her goal at 18 minutes.
Olivia Malchi put Glacier on top 2-1 with a goal at 55 minutes.

Katie Blakenship assisted on Nicholson’s third goal at 36 minutes.

BIGFORK — Lyndsey Strouse scored twice and Katie Price and Hannah Delvanan also added goals as Columbia Falls cruised to a Northern A victory over Bigfork.
Columbia Falls (3-1-2, 2-0) held a 3-0 advantage at the half.
Allison Gimbel stopped nine shots on goal in netting the shutout.
Bigfork (4-2, 1-1) plays at Whitefish on Tuesday.
“The girls were a little flat,” Bigfork coach Mike Marchetti said.
“They didn’t hold their focus during the game and Columbia Falls took advantage of it.”
Columbia Falls entertains Polson on Thursday.

Colton Becker and Brandon Purdy each had a goal and an assist to lead the Wolfpack past Missoula Big Sky for a Western AA home victory.
Purdy assisted Becker’s finish four-minutes into the match to start the scoring for Glacier, and gave the Wolfpack a 2-1 halftime lead with his goal in the 28 minute, assisted by Kade Deleray.
Deleray took on a couple of Big Sky defenders on his run before crossing the ball to Purdy, who rifled a left-footed finished past Eagles’ keeper Nate Mahur for his first goal of the season.
The first goal of the second half came in the 73 minute. Micah Reason’s finish was assisted by Becker, and after a Big Sky goal on a penalty kick.
“We played well. We definitely had to dig down today after an intense toe-to-toe game against Hellgate on Friday,” Wolfpack coach Ryan Billiet said.
“The guys came out and were pretty solid. Big Sky hung in there and tested us all the way to the end. We did whatever it took to get the win.”
Glacier is back in action on Thursday at home against Missoula Sentinel at 3:30 p.m.

BIGFORK — Kyle Thomson’s goal at 23 minutes was enough to give Bigfork the victory over Columbia Falls in Northern A play.
Carson Cantrell assisted on the score.
Bigfork (3-2-1, 2-0) outshot Columbia Falls on goal 18-4.
Ben Russell had four keeper saves and has not allowed a goal in league play.
“Once again, our defense and midfield stepped up,” Bigfork coach Bill Buxton said.
“We had a lot of opportunities, but we couldn’t finish.”
Buxton said Thomson, Cantrell and Tyler Zavala worked well in the center of the field. He said when that happens, “they are hard to defend against.”
Bigfork plays at Whitefish on Tuesday.

LIBBY — Shanoah Montana opened the scoring at 26 minutes, Scott Marsh added two goals and Avery Hirsch one as Whitefish rolled by Libby in Northern A play.
Casey Ling assisted on two scores. Jared Johnson also had an assist.
Whitefish won the first meeting with Libby, 2-1, on a goal in the final 10 seconds.
“We were happy to play a complete game,” Whitefish coach O’Brien Byrd said of the second meeting.
“It was our first complete game and our first shutout.”

BONNERS FERRY, Idaho — Joe King netted two goals and an assist to lead the Stillwater Christian Cougars to a road victory.
King scored five minutes into the match on an assist from Hansen Eystad. He also added the first goal of the second half to break a 1-1 tie.
The Cougars final goal was assisted by King. His cross found the teammate Micah Friesen, who headed into the back of the net.
“Joe is an incredible worker on the field,” Stillwater coach Ryan O’Rourke said.
“He has the skills to finish and he elevates the play on the field for us.
The Cougars will look to extend their winning streak when they travel to Stevensville on Tuesday for 4:30 kickoff.
