Lolo man dies after accidental shooting

LOLO (AP) — A 42-year-old Lolo-area resident has died after accidentally shooting himself in the chest while cleaning a revolver.

Missoula County sheriff’s spokeswoman Paige Pavalone told KTMF-TV that the man’s wife called for help at about 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.

The man, whose name has not been released, was declared dead at about 10 a.m.
