Man dies in house fire near Corvallis

HAMILTON (AP) — A 49-year-old Corvallis-area man died in a recent mobile home fire.

Sheriff Chris Hoffman said says Judd McCown died early Monday. Two other adults escaped the home with the help of firefighters and one was treated for smoke inhalation.

Hoffman says an investigation found the fire was caused by a lighted cigarette near a home oxygen supply.
