ROYAL CITY - Kindergarten teachers are Tammy Manning, Tanya Wood, Heather Mueller, Patty Robbins, Peggy Montgomery, Trista Reffett and Erin Leone renewed a colors lesson last week that involves the entire Red Rock Elementary supporting the Kindergarten.

"I know they've been doing it for the three years I have been here, and it's purpose is to engage the students while reinforcing the colors that they are learning," counselor Nicole Dunn said. "The teachers have also encouraged the other grade levels (students, teachers, and support staff) to participate."

"It has been wonderful to see the support and involvement that the students and teachers have had in all the grade levels," Stewart said. "It really allows the students to become involved in their learning and encourages them to seek out and identify the color of the day throughout the school."

During Kindergarten Color Week, the kindergarten teachers invite all Red Rock Elementary Students and staff to join the kindergarteners as they present five colors in five days. Each day they ask that everyone wear a certain color, as scheduled below:

Monday - Red

Tuesday - Blue

Wednesday - Green

Thursday - Orange

Friday - Yellow/Gold or Black Royal School Colors
