EPHRATA - The City of Ephrata and the family of a slain Ephrata woman are offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.

On Sept. 8, Lucille Moore, 82, of Ephrata, was found dead in her Ephrata home on Sunset Street.

Grant County Coroner Craig Morrison later confirmed Moore was stabbed to death.

City Administrator Wes Crago stated much of the investigation into Moore's murder is forensic in nature, and work is being done at the state crime lab in Cheney.

"It can be frustrating, but for the state crime lab this is a high priority case, and it still will take a month or over a month to get results back," Crago said.

If you have any information on the case, confidential tips can be emailed to crimetips@ephrata.org or call the Ephrata Police Department at 509-754-2491 or MACC Dispatch at 509-762-1160.
