A man is taken into police custody on Monday morning on Second Street East  in Kalispell. According to a press release from Kalispell Police Chief Roger Nasset, "After more than 2 1/2 hours of negotiating, the subject agreed to come out at 9:35 a.m. He was taken into custody for a mental-health evaluation. There were no injuries as a result of this incident and at this point it does not appear there will be criminal charges." (Brenda Ahearn/Daily Inter Lake)
