Drug deal... or baking aficionados?

Someone called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report witnessing a drug deal between three men in a red Cadillac outside of a Montana 35 bar on Monday afternoon. Apparently another man walked up to the Cadillac, handed the men money, who then gave the man a plastic bag with a white, powdery substance inside, probably not confectioner’s sugar.
A 9-year-old boy was out selling popcorn for Boy Scouts and was bitten by a chihuahua Sunday.
A Martin City caller reported vandalism to rain gutters and a dryer duct at a South Fork Road location Monday morning.
A few vehicles were broken into at a Rocky Cliff Drive location in Kalispell. According to the caller, it could have happened on Friday night. Four drop hitches, tires and rims were among items stolen.
A man reported that his mother had been “duped” out of a $10 donation to an unknown military organization. The man wanted police to be aware in case it happened to anyone else.
A snowblower was stolen from a North Foys Lake Drive home.
A Bigfork resident reported hearing gunshots on Blue Lake Lane on Monday. When officers investigated, they found that a neighbor was shooting safely on his own property, which had plenty of trees and hilly areas to ensure that it was safe.
An odd theft was reported in Hungry Horse on Monday night. A pair of children’s shoes, a snorkel and a rock were stolen two weeks ago, but the woman wanted to report it to police since the items were not of significant value and it seemed strange. She also said that her son had been camping, and someone had come by and removed his whole campsite, sticks, branches and all.
Columbia Falls Police were called when a woman had her debit and credit card stolen and noticed several transactions and withdrawals since her last use on Sunday.
Someone called the Whitefish Police Department to report a woman drinking beer on Colorado Avenue. The caller was concerned because it looked like the woman had an underage boy with her and might be giving him alcohol.
