Loretta Jean Johnson, 87

Loretta Jean Johnson, 87 years old, “went to be with her heavenly father” on March 30, 2015. This happened to be day that 66 years earlier she had married the love of her life Albert Johnson.

Loretta was born in Dooley, Montana, to Issac and Nova Ruggles, Nov. 28, 1927.

Albert and Loretta moved to Kalispell from Plentywood in 1957 for a fresh start. Loretta retired in the early ‘90s to care for her husband, after 32 years employment as head maid at the Blue and White Motel.

Loretta is survived by her loving sister, Genevieve Lee, of Plentywood; two daughters, Linda and Don Clapper, and Vivian and Larry Peterson; grandchildren, David and Lori Weisz, Tami and John Mackie, Toni Peterson, Alan Peterson, and Jessica and Shawn Haye; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; two infant sons; a grandson; and great-great-granddaughter.

A memorial is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday April 6, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home. Interment at Glacier Memorial Gardens and potluck gathering will follow.
