BARBIERI: Here's the real issue

In response to the letter about Rep. Barbieri inviting Shahram Hadian to speak at an informational luncheon:

Let’s be clear about the problem here. Muslims are bringing in their own shariah law to supersede the Supreme law of our land, The U.S. Constitution. There are no other religions that are trying to do that. Muslims, as well as other religions, are to live by the laws of this land, not their own courts and laws. There have been many stories in the news recently about small Muslim communities using shariah law instead of our Constitution as their governing laws, places where police will not go, aka no-go zones. This is also happening in the U.K. in greater magnitude. Rep. Barbieri is right to gather information and especially from someone who knows what shariah law looks like.

The “three religious groups” are worried about “keeping Muslims out,” but there will be no need to “keep them out” if they are assimilating into our country and abiding by the laws of this land.

However, if they are coming to our country to change our Constitution to shariah law we must stop that.
