A Stateline Showgirls dancer was arrested early Sunday for battering a fellow dancer during a lap dance at the business.

Maryann Osman Mahgoub, 26, of Spokane Valley, was booked into the Kootenai County jail for battery and cited for malicious injury to property after allegedly throwing her co-worker's makeup box to the ground.

Osman Mahgoub told a deputy that she "lost it" and was tired of the victim continually bumping into her during work.

"Maryann said she went in while (the alleged victim) was performing a lap dance and she grabbed her by the hair and punched (the victim) in the face," the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office report states. "Maryann stated the managers at the establishment hadn't been doing anything about the issues between her (and the victim) so she had to do something about it."

The victim, from Spokane, suffered a bloody nose and declined medical treatment, according to the KCSO report. She estimated the damage of her makeup box and its contents at $800.

Osman Mahgoub posted a $300 bond on Sunday.
