The two dogs are close. Vevera said when you take one on a walk it is always looking back for the other to come too. For Tullis, the dogs were exactly what he was looking for. He wanted two dogs, that were already house broken. As a new home owner this is the first time he won't be facing restrictions from landlords to dog ownership. These will also be Amelia's first dogs. The Tullis's adopted the dogs on Wednesday, April 8, and took them home that day. "It's always a major triumph and a big cheer for us when we get to keep a pair like this together," said Animal Shelter Director Cliff Bennett.
