SANDPOINT — A bail reduction was denied Friday for a Bonner County man awaiting extradition back to California to answer to forgery charges in San Bernardino County.

David Mark Gaynor sought to be released on his own recognizance because his financial assets have been seized by law enforcement.

“Police issued a search warrant taking my life savings,” Gaynor said during a videoconference hearing in magistrate court.

Gaynor said he a self-employed enforcer and collector of judgments entered in court cases.
