Marjorie 'Margie' Dee Barwise, 79, died peacefully at her home in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Margie was born October 21, 1935, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Lee and Ima Jennings.

In 1953, Margie married Carl Barwise in a small ceremony in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, this year marked 61 years. They had three children, Sandra, Thomas and Phillip. The family resided in several locations: Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Yucaipa, CA; Hesperia, CA; and Apple Valley, CA. For the past 5 years they have called Coeur d'Alene, Idaho home.

As a homemaker, Margie made her family and home her top priority. Her skills at cooking are remembered by friends and family: cakes, pies and of course, Jello. All who had the privilege to know her can attest to her kindness and loving nature.

Margie cheered the Dodgers, they were her team. She enjoyed sewing, reading, playing Spider Solitaire, family camping trips, travel with Carl, watching Fox News and weekly card games with friends.

Margie's relationship with the Lord was the center of who she was, faithfully raising her children in her Faith. She served in the nursery and VBS over the years. Her church family at Emmanuel Baptist Church has been a wonderful support in recent years.

She is survived by husband, Carl Barwise, of Coeur d'Alene, ID; daughter Sandra and her husband John Kibby of Hayden, ID; son Thomas Barwise and wife Dorie of Vancouver, WA; son Phillip Barwise of Coeur d'Alene, ID. Her grand- and great-grandchildren are: Craig and Kim Kibby - Quinn and Brennan; Tracy and Francis Blankenship - Delaney, Bree and Winter; Thomas and Gabby Barwise - Londyn, Kyndall and Brantley; Jackie Dorsey; Aaron and Jen Barwise; Christopher Barwise. She was preceded in death by parents, Lee and Ima Jennings, sister Mildred Hoskinson, and granddaughter Jessica Barwise.
