Locked out leads to locked up

POST FALLS - A Post Falls man who called police on Sunday after being locked out of his vehicle has been locked up, according to a police report.
Michael D. Downs, 34, was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear for disturbing the peace. He was released on bond later in the day.
Downs contacted police because he was locked out of his truck at the Walmart on Mullan Avenue. While an officer was en route to help, a dispatcher notified the officer that there was a warrant for Downs' arrest.
